Tita Stewart
Tita Stewart is the Director of Marketing for Amerigroup Georgia. Tita, who has been with Amerigroup since 2005, oversees the communication, acquisition and retention for over 350,000 members throughout the state of Georgia. In this capacity, she is responsible for driving topline enrollment growth and increasing market share. She develops and leads the strategic marketing plan for the market that includes all branding and community outreach objectives and strategies. During her tenure with Amerigroup, Tita has also played a significant role in assisting in the development of Medicaid expansion markets including Louisiana, West Virginia, and Kentucky. Tita has been chair of the Georgia Commission on Women since January 2019.
Prior to joining Amerigroup, Tita served as the executive director for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Atlanta. In that position, she was responsible for policy-making, operations management, creation and administration of operating budget and fiscal reporting. She also recruited, trained, evaluated and supervised all staff, while sustaining an employee retention rate of 100 percent for two consecutive years.
Tita currently serves on the board of directors for the Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies Coalition of Georgia, the Empty Stocking Fund, and the Atlanta Metropolitan College Foundation Board.
She is a graduate of Savannah State University in Savannah, Ga., and holds a Master’s in Business Administration from the Keller Graduate School of Management.
