Mia Rice
Mia Rice is a fourth grade Language Arts teacher at Brookstone School in Columbus, Georgia. In the Muscogee County community, she is a member of the Junior League of Columbus, Historic Columbus Foundation, and the Quadrille Society for Women.
Mia holds a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education, a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction, and a certification in Gifted and Talented Education from the University of Mississippi. She has taught children in grades K-5 from the Atlanta (Jonesboro) area, Perry/Warner Robins area and Columbus area since graduating from college in 2000.
Mia is an active member of St. Luke Methodist Church and the Step-by-Step Sunday School Class and has served on the Administrative Board since 2010. She is married to Brooks Rice, and they have three children ages 12, 11, and 9.
