Our Mission
The mission of the Georgia Commission on Women is to advance the health, educational, economic, social and legal status of
women in Georgia by conducting studies and research; disseminating information analyzing the impact of Georgia laws on women;
consulting and informing government officials; cooperating with the U.S. and other states in programs relating to women; promoting
women's organizations on the state and local level; holding public hearings, forums and conferences; to elevate the status of women in Georgia.
